Sunny Kaushal couldn’t see himself sitting in front of a computer

For someone who's studying to be a Chartered Accountant, venturing into acting could be a huge leap of faith. But when you grow up on a heavy dose ofBollywood, thanks to action director father (Sham Kaushal)
and actor brother (Vicky Kaushal), it's not that hard. Sunny Kaushal, who makes his debut with 'Sunshine Music Tours And Travels' ('SMTT'), says, "Both Vicky and I never saw dad doing a 9-to-5 job. So when I was doing my articleship, I couldn't imagine sitting in front of the computer. So I quit studies and started assisting on movies and took acting lessons," he says.
The young actor plays an orphan who works at a dhaba in Kashmir where the owner plays EDM for the foreigners visiting there. Hooked on to it, he wants to attend a music event in Goa. Set against this backdrop, the movie progresses thereon.

Calling 'SMTT' a dream debut, he attributes it to director Shailendra Singh. He says, "With 170 newcomers in the movie, including actors and technicians, we needed someone as positive as him. He has the energy of a 16-year-old; and we'd all feed on his energy. He's thorough with his work and there's not a single stock footage in the movie; he has shot it all."
