SAN FRANCISCO — In what may be the first known case of digitally induced bovine bashfulness,Google Street View blurred the face of a cow wandering the banks of the River Cam in Cambridge, England.
When Google captured the image of the Cambridge cow in a meadow called Coe Fen in August 2015, it added an identity-masking blur, the way it does for two-legged species like us. An editor at The Guardian happened on the blurred bovine this week and shared a screenshot on Twitter to the Internet's — ahem — udder delight.
